OVERVIEW OF ELECTIVES FOR 9TH & 10TH GRADE
STUDENTS PREPARING FOR CONFIRMATION

9th Grade students need 30 Catholic education hours.  They have the entire school year to complete this.  Education hours are fulfilled by whatever option (LIFE TEEN, Catholic School, Home School, or week night class) they pick.  ALL Life Teen activities count for 1.5 elective credit hours.  (Exception: Thursday night game nights don’t count for credit.)

10th Grade students need 10 Catholic education hours in addition to their Confirmation class and retreat.  ALL Life Teen activities will count for 1.5 elective credit hours.  (Exception:  Thursday night game nights don’t count for credit.)

ELECTIVES
The reason we offer these electives is so that the teens will be introduced to the many opportunities available to them to grow in their faith during High School.  Our hope is that through this introduction, teens will become acquainted with, and stay involved in their parish youth program even after Confirmation.
